Talent Acquisition & Marketing Board

Board Meetings

At Board Meetings, you’ll collaborate with people like you who can help you be a more effective talent acquisition leader.

Everything is completely private, off-the-record, and in an incredibly efficient format. Get fast answers to the questions and challenges you can’t talk about anywhere else.

Every meeting is exclusively for talent acquisition leaders at major brands.

You’ll connect with more talent acquisition leaders from major brands in one day than you will anywhere else all year. Bringing so many brands together creates incredible conversations that span a wide range of challenges. You’ll get answers and insights from unexpected places, make amazing connections, and leave with a notebook full of ideas.

There are absolutely no vendors or sponsors allowed.

No vendors, sponsors, or consultants of any kind allowed. No speaking slots are for sale. No vendors are allowed in the room. No sponsors will be accepted in any form.

Board Meetings are for you and leaders like you. No sales pitches, period.

You’ll have incredibly valuable conversations.

Because everyone in the room is a talent acquisition leader, no matter what you’re looking to start, figure out, or fix — someone else has been there before and can help.

It’s efficient and designed for busy leaders.

We’re famous for running on-time, keeping a fast pace, and expert moderation. You’re busy, so we make sure every minute is time well spent.

Unique venues and changing formats — but always great experiences.

We mix things up to keep it interesting so no two meetings are ever the same. But the core never changes: Great conversations through unconferences, Show & Tell talks, member-led discussions, and meal discussions. We do four meetings per year with low registration fees aimed to simply cover our costs.

We don’t do a lot of the usual conference stuff.

There are no sponsors, exhibitors, panels, keynotes, vendors, or canned presentations. In fact, the only time someone stands at the front of the room is when another member is sharing with you. Board Meetings aren’t conferences. They’re the highlight experience of membership, and attending gets you better insights, answers, and the help you need to lead your social media program. These conversations don’t happen anywhere else — it’s the kind of practical, actionable advice you can only get from other leaders like you.

How members describe the experience:

Keep providing this safe space for small, breakout collaboration. I found that one afternoon at the Mini Meeting so much more valuable than the entire Indeed Interactive conference. Amy Winebright, Dell

These events are customized throughout our time together based on realtime conversations and interactions. It's really valuable to know we aren't committed to an agenda months ahead of the event. Abigail Rathmann, AbbVie

I loved the Unconferences. It was a great way to interact face-to-face and learn from industry peers. There were great insights on the strategies used. Corey Brockhaus, Lockheed Martin

The format was great, and the frequent breaks made it easy to stay engaged. Thanks for a really valuable day of conversations and learning with peers who are facing the same triumphs and challenges. Stephanie Marum, Exelon

I LOVED everything about the meeting! Most of all I loved the staff. They all know the true meaning of customer service. Charlotte Jones, Lockheed Martin

I love the candidness of the conversations. I think as EB professionals, we're all hit by vendors a lot, and usually, someone at a meeting has dealt with a vendor that I was considering. We could talk about whether that vendor was really worth the money. Raj Suri, Intel

The meetings really help us to see what others were doing, inquire about their tactics, and dive deeper into stress points we or others were feeling to work through those together. Casie Shimansky, Cisco

I loved the conversations at the meeting and found a lot of value in all of the different agenda items. I especially liked the Unconferences, which you're famous for! Cara Pifer, John Deere
